Type Full time, PermanentTKL Logistics Limited operates wharf scanning systems for the Kiwifruit industry at the port of Tauranga, this process involves all pallets being physically scanned to check their compliance status and record the arrival onto our site.
The process involves the use of handheld scanners to physically read the barcode data on a pallet while still on a truck.
Due to a retirement we require a new staff member to join our team in time for the 2020 Kiwifruit export season.
The person we are seeking will be physically fit and be prepared to work extended hours when required. Our site operates 7 days a week during peak times of the season so weekend work will be common.
Having previous experience with the Kiwifruit industry’s EDI processes or loadout systems will be an advantage for an applicant.
The position is a permanent salaried position with hours worked for the year primarily between March and November (inclusive).
