Yesaway New Zealand currently has stores in Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, Queenstown, and Dunedin.Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
1.Managing reconciliations in a timely manner
2.Assist in the preparation all BAS, IAS and PAYG returns
3.Record transactions and perform monthly accounting close procedures
4.Liaise closely with various internal and external stakeholders
5.Ensure all corporate compliance activity is performed in an accurate manner, reviewed and submitted on time
6.Support internal management reporting by understanding the business and being able to explain variances
7.Review internal cost allocations
8.Assisting with the preparation annual and quarterly forecasts and re-forecasts
9.Daily management of group cash flow, including reconciliation of 12-month cash flow forecast
10.Advanced Excel skills are essential
11.Local tax filings and support
12. Adhoc finance responsibilities and projects as they arise
Job Repuirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce
2.Studying towards CPA/CA
3.3-4 years’ post- graduation experience in Assistant/Accountant/Company Accountant roles
4.Working knowledge of key accounting methods ,standards,and bookkeeping
5.Knowledge of MS Office suite products（Word,Excel,PowerPoint)
6.SAP ERP knowledge desirable
7.Good verbal and written communication skills
8.Able to work independently and as part of a team
9.Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with your colleagues
