What we do
We work closely and collaboratively with industry partners, the Ministry for the Environment, other government agencies, and local government on advancing waste and contaminated land management issues. We also gather feedback on topical issues and key areas of interest, which are incorporated into our continuing professional development programme which includes the WasteMINZ annual conference, workshops and seminars.
WasteMINZ also has relationships with a number of other similar international organisations and is New Zealand’s national member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA).
Membership
There is significant value in being a member of WasteMINZ. This includes the opportunity to network and promote your products and services, attend our annual conference and workshops, participate in our sector groups and positively shape our industry through ongoing research and guideline development.
Who we are
WasteMINZ is governed by a board that consists of six members who are elected by the organisation’s financial members. Board members serve for a term of two years.

A notary public (sometimes called a notary or a public notary) in New Zealand is a lawyer authorised by the Archbishop of Canterbury in England to officially witness signatures on legal documents, collect sworn statements, administer oaths and certify the authenticity of legal documents for use overseas.
A notary public uses an embossing tool (seal) to verify their presence at the time the documents were signed. When visiting a notary public it is important to have formal identification with you ideally your passport or photo drivers licence.
If the document being notarised refers to a specific identity document the notary will need to sight that document as well.
In some cases documents once signed by the notary will need to be sent to the Department of Internal Affairs in Wellington for authentication.

The New Zealand Federation of Business & Professional Women
BPW NZ was formed in 1939, initially as an offshoot of the YWCA organisation. The initial focus of the NZ Federation was with regard to the war, and food parcels were sent to Britain. But at the same time a plan of study was outlined on the “Status of Women”. Projects were also undertaken, and in the first decade these included:
A survey of the status of domestic work and workers
Juvenile employment
Women jurors
and in 1941, a series of lectures was arranged on “the Social Aspects of Sex”.
Soon after the war, in 1946, when the Federation was composed of 10 Clubs and was becoming recognised as a nationally organised society, it separated from the YWCA. Some ten years later membership had increased to 940 in 19 Clubs. This steady growth continued so that, when the Federation celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1989, membership totalled nearly 2000 in 45 Clubs located throughout New Zealand. In 1991 the Federation adopted a new Constitution and became registered as an Incorporated Society.
The Federation maintains a close affiliation with the International Federation. Delegates and observers have regularly attended Congress and Board Meetings, members have served on Standing Committees and four have been elected to international office. In 1985 the XVIIth Congress was held in Auckland – the first Congress in Australasia.

The New Zealand Federation of Business & Professional Women
BPW NZ was formed in 1939, initially as an offshoot of the YWCA organisation. The initial focus of the NZ Federation was with regard to the war, and food parcels were sent to Britain. But at the same time a plan of study was outlined on the “Status of Women”. Projects were also undertaken, and in the first decade these included:
A survey of the status of domestic work and workers
Juvenile employment
Women jurors
and in 1941, a series of lectures was arranged on “the Social Aspects of Sex”.
Soon after the war, in 1946, when the Federation was composed of 10 Clubs and was becoming recognised as a nationally organised society, it separated from the YWCA. Some ten years later membership had increased to 940 in 19 Clubs. This steady growth continued so that, when the Federation celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1989, membership totalled nearly 2000 in 45 Clubs located throughout New Zealand. In 1991 the Federation adopted a new Constitution and became registered as an Incorporated Society.
The Federation maintains a close affiliation with the International Federation. Delegates and observers have regularly attended Congress and Board Meetings, members have served on Standing Committees and four have been elected to international office. In 1985 the XVIIth Congress was held in Auckland – the first Congress in Australasia.

The New Zealand Federation of Business & Professional Women
BPW NZ was formed in 1939, initially as an offshoot of the YWCA organisation. The initial focus of the NZ Federation was with regard to the war, and food parcels were sent to Britain. But at the same time a plan of study was outlined on the “Status of Women”. Projects were also undertaken, and in the first decade these included:
A survey of the status of domestic work and workers
Juvenile employment
Women jurors
and in 1941, a series of lectures was arranged on “the Social Aspects of Sex”.
Soon after the war, in 1946, when the Federation was composed of 10 Clubs and was becoming recognised as a nationally organised society, it separated from the YWCA. Some ten years later membership had increased to 940 in 19 Clubs. This steady growth continued so that, when the Federation celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1989, membership totalled nearly 2000 in 45 Clubs located throughout New Zealand. In 1991 the Federation adopted a new Constitution and became registered as an Incorporated Society.
The Federation maintains a close affiliation with the International Federation. Delegates and observers have regularly attended Congress and Board Meetings, members have served on Standing Committees and four have been elected to international office. In 1985 the XVIIth Congress was held in Auckland – the first Congress in Australasia.

The New Zealand Federation of Business & Professional Women
BPW NZ was formed in 1939, initially as an offshoot of the YWCA organisation. The initial focus of the NZ Federation was with regard to the war, and food parcels were sent to Britain. But at the same time a plan of study was outlined on the “Status of Women”. Projects were also undertaken, and in the first decade these included:
A survey of the status of domestic work and workers
Juvenile employment
Women jurors
and in 1941, a series of lectures was arranged on “the Social Aspects of Sex”.
Soon after the war, in 1946, when the Federation was composed of 10 Clubs and was becoming recognised as a nationally organised society, it separated from the YWCA. Some ten years later membership had increased to 940 in 19 Clubs. This steady growth continued so that, when the Federation celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1989, membership totalled nearly 2000 in 45 Clubs located throughout New Zealand. In 1991 the Federation adopted a new Constitution and became registered as an Incorporated Society.
The Federation maintains a close affiliation with the International Federation. Delegates and observers have regularly attended Congress and Board Meetings, members have served on Standing Committees and four have been elected to international office. In 1985 the XVIIth Congress was held in Auckland – the first Congress in Australasia.

The New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) is the internationally recognised professional body of qualified landscape architects in New Zealand.
The objective of the institute is to promote the profession of landscape architecture throughout New Zealand, and to promote the appropriate and sustainable protection, planning, design, intervention and management of our landscapes. As a collective of professionals, we have a responsibility to assist our members in improving their general and technical knowledge through Conferences and a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.

WasteMINZ is the largest representative body of the waste, resource recovery and contaminated land sectors in New Zealand. Formed in 1989 it is a membership-based organisation with over 1,000 members – from small operators through to councils and large companies.

What we do
We work closely and collaboratively with industry partners, the Ministry for the Environment, other government agencies, and local government on advancing waste and contaminated land management issues. We also gather feedback on topical issues and key areas of interest, which are incorporated into our continuing professional development programme which includes the WasteMINZ annual conference, workshops and seminars.
WasteMINZ also has relationships with a number of other similar international organisations and is New Zealand’s national member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA).
Membership
There is significant value in being a member of WasteMINZ. This includes the opportunity to network and promote your products and services, attend our annual conference and workshops, participate in our sector groups and positively shape our industry through ongoing research and guideline development.
Who we are
WasteMINZ is governed by a board that consists of six members who are elected by the organisation’s financial members. Board members serve for a term of two years.

A notary public (sometimes called a notary or a public notary) in New Zealand is a lawyer authorised by the Archbishop of Canterbury in England to officially witness signatures on legal documents, collect sworn statements, administer oaths and certify the authenticity of legal documents for use overseas.
A notary public uses an embossing tool (seal) to verify their presence at the time the documents were signed. When visiting a notary public it is important to have formal identification with you ideally your passport or photo drivers licence.
If the document being notarised refers to a specific identity document the notary will need to sight that document as well.
In some cases documents once signed by the notary will need to be sent to the Department of Internal Affairs in Wellington for authentication.
