Trip to New Zealand in October 2019. I did some Air New Zealand ( the only planes there !!! ) spotting Thursday morning 19 October 2019 in Queenstown. Unfortunately non of the big guns like the Boeing 747 or Airbus A380 landing or taking off, I believe it maybe something to do with not enough demand :-) Aircraft sighted:-

Streets in the South Island tourist towns of Wanaka and Queenstown in New Zealand were slowly going under water on Friday, after Lake Wanaka and Lake Wakatipu burst their banks earlier in the week, flooding businesses and sewerage systems.

Queenstown is more famous for its epic skiing and snowboarding in the winter but we still enjoyed visiting it in the New Zealand Summer! Or perhaps even more famous for its adventure sports - bungee jumping, jet boating, canyon swinging...

THIS WAS AN AMAZING 1.5 HOURS OF FLIGHT WITH SCENIC HELICOPTER TOUR, THE PILOT IS ALSO THE TOUR GUILD WITH A VAST KNOWLEDGE OF THE HISTORY QUEENSTOWN.

THIS FLIGHT INCLUDED THE SCENERY OF THE HEART OF QUEENSTOWN, LANDING IN THE SOUTHERN ALPS MOUNTAIN RANGE, THE LANDING IN MILFORD SOUND AND THE SPECTACULAR SIGHT OF ARROWTOWN.

FROM MY EXPERIENCE IT WAS AWESOME BUT IF YOU GET CAR OR BOAT SICKNESS EASILY THEN THIS WOULD BE THE SAME.
