This role falls under their aged care services within residential care, independent villages and community home care. This role is based at their head office in Sydney and requires travel across their facilities.

 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager of Quality, you will be responsible for the on-going development and implementation of best practice in caring for residents with dementia. You will work closely with key stakeholders to provide quality improvement and reviews for specialised dementia care management across the organisation.

You will have a previous dementia care background and qualification, ideally working in a similar position within in Aged Care. This is a travelling position across Sydney so you will need to be happy to work across multiple sites within the greater Sydney area. Someone who is a great team player and a strong passion and focus across senior dementia care strategies and projects will work well in this role.

 

Skills and Experience

Current AHPRA registration or a relevant healthcare tertiary qualification
Holds a specialised dementia care qualification
Demonstrated experience working a similar position across management within Aged Care
Excellent communication and people skills across all channels
Ability to provide advice and evidence-based practice solutions from strategic planning and implementation of initiatives
Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
Experience and strong understanding of working with dementia care
Valid driving licence and able to travel across Greater Sydney
