We're looking for an installers to join us in servicing our customers in-home with their curtain and blind installations. We have a lot of projects in the pipeline and provide full training to ensure you're up to speed and rearing to go! We will pass on jobs to you and let you know which store or warehouse to collect product from which will be all ready for you to install.

Your day will include:

Measuring windows, curtains & blinds on-site
Installation of blinds and curtain tracks
Hanging curtains and ensuring correct placement
Providing care instructions to the customer post-installation
Working to deadlines
Travelling between install locations
Correcting any installation errors

You will have:

Your own work vehicle and relevant tools
Quality workmanship and finishing
A keen eye for detail
A strong customer focus
A full, clean NZ Drivers Licence
The ability to multitask
NZ residency or a valid work visa

As the Team Lead, Counselling, you will lead a team of Counsellors and will be responsible for all aspects of your staff management and professional leadership. You will work closely with the Clinical Lead, Counselling, to ensure the Service meets Student and University needs. This includes working alongside the Clinical Lead, Counselling, in leading, planning, strategic development and management of the delivery of the Student Counselling Service responsive to the increasingly diverse Student population to assist Students to achieve their academic and personal potential. This role contains a mix of leadership responsibilities and the delivery of counselling services to students.

We are seeking a highly experienced counsellor, psychotherapist, social worker or psychologist with experience managing a team and an interest in working with young adults and mature students in a university setting. You will have the ability to work therapeutically with people who have a wide range of emotional, social, cultural, and mental health issues. Knowledge and experience of work in the tertiary sector and within mental health services would be helpful, as would special attention with working with Maori, Pasifika and Rainbow people.

Applicants must hold a relevant applied university degree and be a full member of a professional body such as NZAC, NZAP, ANZASW, or be a registered psychologist. An ability to work cooperatively as part of a team will be essential. It is strongly desired that applicants have a working knowledge of CBT and hold a recognised CBT qualification or be willing to work toward one.

This role requires safety checking through the police vetting system under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.

We are looking for team players to join our Kitchen team.

This position is on a rostered and rotating roster, the position will include weekend work early starts and late evening.
The Kitchen Assistant contributes to the quality of life of our residents by providing quality food service offering nutritious, safe & hygienic and adequate meals that meet the residents’ individual nutritional needs.



Ensuring quality of food by examining food stuffs and complying with the documented safe food handling and infection control procedures.

Providing services in a pleasant and courteous manner which is respectful of individual privacy, dignity and personal property.
Participating in training, in-service education and meetings as required.
Ensuring your own safety and that of other staff and residents by; understanding and complying with Health and Safety policy and procedures, wearing protective clothing and using protective equipment, reporting any pain or discomfort as soon as possible, reporting all accidents and incidents, and communicating any health and safety concerns to your manager.

Understanding and complying with all other relevant policies and procedures.
Performing any other duties that we reasonably require you to do. We may change your duties from time to time to reflect the changing requirements of your position and our business.
Assisting the Cook/Kitchen Manager/Chef in preparing and cooking/baking food for the residents by assembling and preparing ingredients.

Serving meals in the dining room as scheduled and according to the individual needs of the residents/visitors.
Cleaning the kitchen area & sculleries and cooking & kitchen utensils while complying with the cleaning and infection control procedure.
Cooking, toasting and heating simple food items.
Kitchen experience is essential

This role contains a mix of leadership responsibilities and the delivery of counselling services to students.

We are seeking a highly experienced counsellor, psychotherapist, social worker or psychologist with experience managing a team and an interest in working with young adults and mature students in a university setting. You will have the ability to work therapeutically with people who have a wide range of emotional, social, cultural, and mental health issues. Knowledge and experience of work in the tertiary sector and within mental health services would be helpful, as would special attention with working with Maori, Pasifika and Rainbow people.

Applicants must hold a relevant applied university degree and be a full member of a professional body such as NZAC, NZAP, ANZASW, or be a registered psychologist. An ability to work cooperatively as part of a team will be essential. It is strongly desired that applicants have a working knowledge of CBT and hold a recognised CBT qualification or be willing to work toward one.

- To undertake a health and safety audit at each site visit and remain vigilant with health and safety requirements.
- To liaise with the Client regularly (daily if possible) to ensure construction is proceeding to the Clients expectation, discussing construction problems and design changes, and requesting criticism of our site performance.
- To inform the quantity surveyor of all variations.
- To supervise the technical and quality correctness of the construction we are undertaking.
- To lead and drive the labour crew giving construction deadlines & clear performance instructions, providing construction details, work sequencing & guidance.
- To maintain a clean work environment for our labour crew.
- To manage the workmanship, materials, and detailing to ensure all our work conforms with specification and design.
- To minimize defective work and ensure defective work is rectified to the Clients satisfaction.
- To complete the project to the required quality, on time and to budget.
- To ensure all maintenance defects are actioned at the earliest opportunity.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

- To take over designated projects upon tender acceptance and to fully review the tender file to bring himself fully conversant with the project. To ask the estimator all pertinent questions regarding the tendered project and fully familiarise himself with the budget allowances, tender offer and associated tender exclusions, tags or clarifications.
- To fully review the estimators tender takeoff and undertake an independent material measure to satisfy himself that the quantities ordered are adequate to complete the project.
- To be fully conversant with the specification and drawings.
- To undertake an initial site visit and meet the Client’s site manager and discuss in depth the Client’s program, key construction dates, construction sequence, setout points, etc.
- To order the materials in detail in accurate and strategic quantities using written purchase orders.
- To forward plan the labour crew to be utilized for the project.
- To discuss labour contract rates with the estimator and to formalize these rates with the labour crew.
- To ensure all materials, plant and fixings are loaded onto the site to ensure the labour crew have an uninterrupted work flow.
- To undertake a health and safety audit at each site visit and remain vigilant with health and safety requirements.
- To liaise with the Client regularly (daily if possible) to ensure construction is proceeding to the Clients expectation, discussing construction problems and design changes, and requesting criticism of our site performance.
- To inform the quantity surveyor of all variations.
- To supervise the technical and quality correctness of the construction we are undertaking.
- To lead and drive the labour crew giving construction deadlines & clear performance instructions, providing construction details, work sequencing & guidance.
- To maintain a clean work environment for our labour crew.
- To manage the workmanship, materials, and detailing to ensure all our work conforms with specification and design.
- To minimize defective work and ensure defective work is rectified to the Clients satisfaction.
- To complete the project to the required quality, on time and to budget.
- To ensure all maintenance defects are actioned at the earliest opportunity.
- Complete all other tasks reasonably requested of you that may be required from time to time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Some of the key duties of the role are:
Deal with both incoming and outbound interactions to deliver awesome customer service and sales our New Zealand customers
Ensure jobs are booking in efficiently and accurately using the provided internal systems
Work with your team to ensure service levels are maintained at a high level*Meet and interact with counter sales customers, ensuring their service expectations are meet at all times.
*Purchasing, invoicing and all admin functions of a busy retail store.

• to ensure the safety and welfare of residents, staff and visitors is maintained, and make sure that the house rules are followed
• to assist residents with their rehabilitation and reintegration needs
• you will also need to assist residents by taking them to appointments in the community so you will need to hold a full drivers licence.

Key to the success of this role will be your ability to supervise, motivate and influence those in residence while working as a part of a small team. In addition, your ability to maintain clear and professional boundaries at all times, provide practical solutions to day-to-day issues, identify risk and effectively communicate with people at all levels is essential to the success of this role.

If you pride yourself on your ability to provide a high standard of care, have proven experience working with individuals with challenging and complex needs and want to make a difference to community safety in a new way then we want to hear from you!
