One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an experienced All Rounder/Excavator Operator to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Site.

The main duties of this role include:

DIDO role, working 12.5 hour days
Operation of various Ancillary Machinery

You will be rewarded with:
$51 per hour
7:7 Roster
9.5% Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked
Camp facilities include gym facilities, Telstra 4G connectivity, Foxtel, and Wi-Fi is also available on most sites

Excavator
CAT/Terex/O&K 6040, 6060
Hitachi 3600, 5600, 8000
Liebherr 994, 995 or larger
Dozer
CAT D10 / D11 track dozer
Large Loader
CAT 994/993
Komatsu WA1200

Candidates must also be able to:
Work in a safe and efficient manner
Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
Provide a current WA Drivers Licence

The Dementia Centre was founded by HammondCare in 1995 as an impartial resource and provider of research and expertise to the aged and dementia care community. About the role

 

is a fixed-term full-time opportunity, which involves providing knowledge, skill and advice on matters relating to excellent dementia care in both clinical and non-clinical matters. No two days are the same and the job will enable you to work with varied stakeholders, through different mediums and at different locations. 

 

As a Dementia Centre Consultant you will;

 Provide dementia specific consulting and advisory services within and outside of HammondCare
 Conduct assessment of individual clients and provide clear and concise reports that will increase quality of life for clients and effectiveness of behaviour management pertaining to Dementia
 Assist families, carers and staff to understand the causes of Dementia and provide practical steps to reduce the impact of behaviours on people living with dementia
Case manage referrals and provide modelling to educate industry staff on various coping strategies
 Proactively engage with the development plan provided to enhance professional practice/knowledge base  in the area of Dementia and Consultancy

Skills and experience

 

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in dementia care.
 Demonstrated ability to provide clinical advice and translate information into practical steps.
Tertiary qualification in the area of Allied Health/Nursing.
Significant interest in professional development and demonstrate ability to enhance personal/professional practice.
 High level of supportive and empathetic communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
 Strong planning and organising skills to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative.
Ability to document accurately and experience in report writing.
Willingness to travel.

The role

 

Specific duties will include:

Managing your day-to-day client activities to support positive outcomes for your clients and their families.
Provide client-driven, evidence-based therapy services to clients in their home and community environments, focusing on their personal goal attainment.
Provide therapy services either individually or as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Liaise with external stakeholders, such as other health professionals, NDIA- related entities, family members, educational staff, and community members, to provide individualised support plans.
Provide accurate, timely and high-quality reports.
Essential requirements

 

An approved degree in the relevant discipline.
Passion for supporting people to maximise their independence and realise their full potential.
Excellent communicator.
Eligible for registration with the appropriate board i.e. AHPRA, SPA etc.
Willing to complete criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent).
Current and unrestricted drivers licence with access to own vehicle.
