We urgently require an experienced skilled labourer, with precision finishing ability to join our team.
The job involves
• Labouring on excavation sites.
• Backfilling and compacting aggregate to levels with small tools and plant.
• Assisting to construct timber pole and keystone retaining walls on both residential and commercial sites.
• Operating a range of power tools.
• Providing competent and prompt support on site, over a range of tasks and sites.
The requirements
• Minimum of a Class 1 licence. Experience towing and backing a trailer would be an advantage.
• Experience working on construction/ excavation sites and following direction.
• An understanding of the ground preparation involved with excavations, asphalt and concrete.
• Ability to follow instructions, particularly health and safety requirements, and correctly operate tools.
• Good organisation skills, including ability to correctly complete time sheets and health and safety documents.
• A sense of pride in your work.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Committed to being at work on time and ready for the day.
