We are looking for a passionate person to take on the Role of a Community Hockey Facilitator in the Southland area. You will be based in Invercargill.
Ideally, you’ll be experienced in sport development whether this is within hockey or sitting with another sports code. You will be enthusiastic! Awesome communication will come naturally and you will be able to demonstrate great leadership abilities. You must be able to show versatility and confidence. Having experience in dealing with volunteers of different ages would be a bonus too.
About Us:
Hockey Southland is the link between Invercargill Hockey Association and Eastern Southland Hockey Association. You will be working closely with both associations as a Hockey Southland employee.
We have 2 turfs at Invercargill and 1 turf in Gore. Hockey Southland provide programmes to the wider Southland area - so you can explore our awesome diversity.
Relevant Skills and Experience
? Motivated self-starter possessing confidence and professionalism
? Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills
? Ability and willingness to take on daily administrative tasks
? Experience with hosting and organising competitions
? Experience in the delivery of coach, volunteer and player development initiatives
? Experience in delivering sport within schools
? Cultural awareness and sensitivity, community minded
