Reference Operations VacancyLochiel Engineering is a Southland based company and home to the famous Lochiel Trailer. We currently have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to join our team.
The Role:
We are looking for someone that possesses high levels of initiative and has excellent organisational & communications skills to oversee the production of our trailer manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities include:
• Inventory & Procurement
• Production & ERP
• Servicing & WOF
• Health & Safety
• Lean & Continuous Improvement
• Day to day management of the workshop and workshop staff.
Skills & experience:
• Ideally you come from a mechanical trade background and have experience managing staff in a production environment.
• Have been exposed to and understand Lean principals (Not essential)
• Possess Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with Ostendo ERP software and Inventor CAD skills are advantageous but not essential
• Have the ability to lead and inspire a team
• Have a passion for efficiency & manufacturing innovation
