Type Full time, PermanentMt Peel is a 3300 ha family run sheep and beef property 20km's west of Gore in the Hokonui Hills , the farm is going through a large development phase and we are looking for someone that's keen to join us as a tractor driver/fencer.
Tasks will include but not limited to
- All cultivation
- Spraying
- Direct Drilling
- Topping
- Carting rock
- Working with Dozer/Digger driver
- Any other development project that's on the go
- All fencing jobs - repairs and erecting new fence lines.
We run a couple of Fendt tractors and the 12 mth old Taege Driver is on a Massey 6480.
The main focus of this job will be the tractor driving/fencing but the successful applicant will have to be prepared to help out with any other farm jobs that are thrown their way.
Experience with tractors on hills and fencing would be an advantage but we are prepared to help teach these skills if the applicant has the right attitude.
Single accomodation can be available.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
