Nind Electrical Services provides Electrical Contracting Services throughout the South Island employing over 120 staff throughout the group. Nind has been trading for over 42 years and has an enviable client list.
A full time estimating position has become available based ideally in our Invercargill Head Office. An alternative location may be considered for the right candidate. The estimating/sales team are focused on winning new Residential, Commercial and Industrial contracts for Nind Electrical Services in our key locations of Invercargill, Queenstown, Dunedin and Christchurch.
This role requires an organised person who thrives on meeting deadlines and following processes. It requires someone committed to our goal of providing “Quality Solutions Delivered on Time” to all of our valued clients.
Key Attributes to be successful in this role
• Must have an electrical background with NZ Registration and current practicing license
• Previous electrical estimating experience in Residential and Commercial fields will be advantageous
• Computer literate with excellent Word, Excel, and Outlook skills. Experience with Soda software and AutoCAD software is desirable
• Previous experience in putting As Built documentation together would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given
• Demonstrate the ability to be very organised and able to follow and improve on existing processes
• Excellent communication skills as the successful candidate will be working closely with Suppliers, Clients and Team Members daily
• A positive attitude and a desire to work in a successful team
This will be a full time role, and training & support will be provided to ensure the successful applicant learns our systems and procedures
