Niagara produces superior radiata pine and timber products for indoor and outdoor building applications in national and international markets.
Due to the ongoing growth and expansion of our business Niagara has opportunities for a number of experienced and skilled Timber Machinists to join our growing team. The positions are permanent fulltime and based at our Kennington site.
The role of Timber Machinist is busy and diverse and involves the operation and maintenance of Planers, producing dressed and profiled timber to our customer’s specifications. The successful applicants will ideally have 3 - 5 years’ experience in timber remanufacturing and value added processing, and will also be comfortable in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Applicants will have a proven history with modern Planers and machine set up, be mechanically minded, safety focused, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail. The ability to train others would be advantageous, although not essential.
