• Staff Management
• Pasture Management
• Dairy Shed Operation
• Genetics – selection and breeding
• Water and Effluent Management
• Property Maintenance and Improvement
• Adoption of Technology
• Trial work and recording for sheep milking enterprise
The successful applicant will have a proven history of farm management, ideally with experience in both sheep and dairy (both not essential).
Skills and Ability of the applicant:
• Technical knowledge of farm systems
• Ability to think outside the square
• Forward thinking and planning
• Adaptable to change and willingness to try new idea
• Problem solving ability
• Willingness to listen
• Ability to record and analyse data
• High level of computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
Trial work and recording are a large component of this position to identify opportunities for improvement.
Remuneration by negotiation and competitive with market rate.
