Type Full time, PermanentAre you a fully qualified early childhood teacher who is passionate about working with children aged 18 months to 3 years? Do you understand the RIE/Pickler philosophy and have experience in implementing these practices?
If you have all the above qualities and are fun, outgoing, professional and physically fit then we would love to hear from you.
We are a rural centre catering for 32 children, just outside of Kerikeri. We believe in a play-based philosophy where children’s interests are extended. We have 3 rooms within our homely centre with two teachers in each room.
You will be working within a team of teachers who are passionate, professional, and respectful and who have a commitment to children and their whanau. Our toddler room has a ratio of 1:4, with up to 8 children and you will be working alongside an experienced teacher.
The position is full time and the hours will include opening or closing the centre.
