Two positions have become available:-
(1) Timber Hand
(2) Experienced Timber Forklift Operator

The successful applicants MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, and be able to pass random drug tests throughout the time of their employment.

TIMBER HAND
For the right candidate, this role could evolve and is a great opportunity to develop new skills.
Requirements of the role:
- Minimum 3 years experience in the Timber Industry preferable however not essential
- Be enthusiastic, trustworthy, reliable and available to start early
- Working with specific operating processes and procedures
- Upholding health and safety standards
- Be Physically fit
Job Description:
- Performs any combination of duties in preparing timber logs for processing
- Set up and operate machinery
- Develop knowledge of quality and the consistent improvement of quality
- Resawing Timber Flitches
- Grading & Packing
- Tallying
- Locate defective products
- Determine tooling and machine requirements

FORKLIFT OPERATOR
The ideal applicant must have the following attributes:
- Hold a current NZ drivers licence
- Hold a current OSH forklift certification
- Demonstrate good attention to detail
- Reasonable level of fitness
- Minimum 2 years experience with timber stacks up to 6 metres and experience with 7 & 12 tonne forklifts is preferable.

This position is for a reliable, motivated, hard-working and honest person who thrives working in a team environment.
