About you:
Someone who is energetic, positive, confident, has respect for others, with an empathetic manner and is keen to make a difference in the lives of our clients. Ideally, you will have had experience supporting homeless people and a good understanding of culturally appropriate delivery of social services.
About the role:
This is role offers you the opportunity to use your professional and personal experience, and to provide support to people on their journey to recovery.?Contribute towards empowering clients with skills and knowledge that will improve their chances of maintaining their tenancies and achieve their long-term goals.
What you will need to have:
• Ability to support and motivate people to achieve their goals
• Practical life skills and knowledge to connect people with community support resources and whanau/family/family of choice.
• Relevant qualification (or working towards one) and/or life experience.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and understanding of tikanga Maori
All applicants must have New Zealand Residency, a full and clean driver's licence and a clean police record.
