We are seeking a Food Service Manager to help develop and grow our busy store. The applicant needs to be friendly, be able to work at least one day in the weekend, be reliable, have own transport and is able to multi task. This position has been created to plan, lead, communicate, organise and control the day to day running of the Bakery and Service Deli Departments alongside their department managers, with a focus on growing each department, particularly around catering.
The applicant should have the following attributes:
Tertiary qualification
Have experience in both Scratch Baking as well as commercial food preparation (Restaurants / Catering)
Be Flexible with hours and be able to start early or work Late nights
Physically fit and healthy
Customer focused
Strong communicator (In both written and verbal)
Food safety 167/168
Computer literate (SAP System)
Great with planning and organising staff and displays
Have foodstuffs knowledge on in store recipe requirements
Knowledge of the Nutrigen system a must.
At least 2 years' experience in both Service Deli/Bakery
